- Click on the 'Start' button at the bottom left of your screen. A menu will pop up with a list of options, click on 'Settings'. When the new window opens click on 'Network and Dial-up Networking'.
- Double click on 'Make New Connection'. This will start a wizard to set up your connection.
- You will now be presented with a window which is the introduction to the built in Windows 'Network Connection Wizard'. Click 'Next' on this window.
- Select the 'Dial-up to the internet' option and contunue on by clicking 'Next'.
- Now choose the 'I want to set up my internet connection manually' in the list and click 'Next'.
- Type 0844 535 2040 into the 'Telephone Number' box, whilst leaving the area code blank. Click 'Next'.
- Type in your 'Username' as 'free' and your 'Password' as 'internet' Then click 'Next'.
- Name your new connection as 'Free Internet' or any other name you would like and click 'Next' to finish the setup.
How To Connect
To connect to the internet using your new Free-Internet-UK.net connection click on 'Start', then click on 'Settings'. Now double click on 'Network and Dial-up Connections' and then double click on the icon called 'Free Internet'.
Don't forget that our dialup internet access is also fully compatible with Mac OS X, Mac OS and Linux.
